Beat the Heat: The Cool-Down Ritual for Fresh, Lifted Summer Skin

A live, 90-minute workshop where you'll learn exactly how to use gua sha, ice globes, crystal rollers — and even a chilled spoon from your freezer — to ease puffiness, calm redness, and bring back that fresh, put-together look the heat keeps stealing.

Can you relate?

It's 7:30 a.m. You haven't even had your coffee — but your face already feels hot and dry. Swollen under the eyes. Flushed across the cheeks. Overheated before the day even starts.

By afternoon it's worse. You step from the AC into a wall of heat, back into the AC, and your skin doesn't know what to do with any of it. Blotchy. Sweaty. Maybe even a little puffy in a way that makes your rings tight and your feet swell.

Sure, we all want to look hot in our vacation photos…but not THAT kind of hot!

I promise, relief is closer than you think!

The tools that cool a hot face, ease the puffiness, and bring back that fresh, lifted look are almost certainly already in your house.

You've just never been shown how to use them.

THE WORKSHOP

Beat the Heat

A live, 75-minute workshop where I'll take you — tools in hand, in the mirror right alongside me — through a simple cool-down ritual for hot, stressed summer skin.

So you leave knowing exactly what to reach for, exactly what to do with it, and how to work it in even the laziest (or busiest) summer day!

What we'll cover

Everything you need for a cooler, calmer summer face

The Gua Sha Cool-Down

The exact strokes that move heat-driven puffiness out of your face and jaw, so you look de-puffed and more sculpted in minutes.

Ice Globes, Done Right

How to use cold to calm summer redness, quiet irritation, and tighten the look of pores — without shocking your skin.

The Crystal Roller Morning Move

A two-minute technique for an awake, fresh, glowing look before you've even finished your coffee.

The Freezer-Spoon Trick

My favorite proof that you don't need to buy a single thing. If puffy morning eyes are your summer struggle, this one's for you.

Your 5-to-10-Minute Ritual

How to layer it all into one short, repeatable routine that fits a hot summer morning — or a hotel bathroom on vacation.

Live Q&A

Bring your own tools and your own questions. We'll troubleshoot together, live.

YOUR TEACHER

Hi, I'm Alex

I'm right here in midlife with you (turning 60 this summer!) — figuring out what actually helps and what's just another over-hyped trend. After years as a television journalist, I trained and certified in face yoga and facial gua sha because I got tired of hearing that the only options for my aging skin were over-priced skin care products or needles.

There's a whole middle path, and it puts the most powerful tools in your own two hands. That's what I teach: natural, pro-aging self-care that helps you look and feel like the most vibrant version of yourself, at every age.
